Hi! My name is Dan and I am sort of new to online writing.  I've done some writing way back in high school, but most of it was just for an amateur school paper, so yes, it has been quite awhile (more than a decade..) since I've written something.  I am positive, however, that all of it would come back and it'll be just like riding a bike!

I started the hobby of writing  right around 6th grade, having a different school system, I think 6th grade would be right around middle school.  I continued writing even in high school, although not as often as I wanted to, I literally swarmed with school stuff.  I played for the school's soccer team a couple of years, and also tried some music with friends.  My high school life was a mess of things, I never got to decide what I wanted to do then, it was like a really long and early midlife crisis.

After a brief stint at college. I decided that I had enough of school and I got a job at my dad's workplace.  I've made a lot of good friends there and I also learned how to play badminton, it's amazing how a few minutes of playing badminton can equate to a halftime's worth of running around playing soccer!

I've also worked as a technical support guy for an internet service provider and also met a bunch of good people.  That was where I also experienced how sitting on a chair for 8 hours straight was more stressful than working under the sun.  I mean, I like working for a few hours sitting down, but 8 hours straight is torture.  I left that job after a few months and I've been working at home ever since.

Now I know they say that there's no other place like home, but sometimes it gets a little boring, then just as I was cleaning my room, I came across a box filled with stuff I had in school. I scanned through the contents and found some of my old work, articles, essays and reaction papers, and that was sort of the reason why I got myself to try out online writing.

Hopefully soon, I would be able to hatch ideas to write about, and your comments, and suggestions about my work are and will always be appreciated.  I know I need a lot help with technical grammar and kinda tend to beat around the bush sometimes. (found that one out after rummaging back through my old stuff)
